Anniversary 1967 Pinot Grigio Blush – Torri Cantine 13%
Sensory notes
Colour: A very bright and consistent coppery pink.
Nose: An intense and very fragrant nose of fruit, raspberry, apricot, grapefruit and plum with a delicate whiff of broom and hawthorn.
Taste: A moderate intensity, with an engaging freshness in balance with a delicate warmth and an enveloping softness. A wine with a good structure, elegant, refined and moderately mineral.
Harvest
Born in the well-known Terre di Chieti from an old vine trained by the Guyot method, in one of the most important wine-growing areas, characterised by an invaluable temperature range and a magnificent exposure.
A magnificent Pinot Grigio, obtained from hand picked grapes only harvested in the third decade of August, rigorously manual, from a certified organic agriculture, which guarantees the maximum respect for the surrounding environment.
Vinification
A white wine vinification, carried out exclusively in thermo-conditioned steel vats, followed by 6 months of refinement, also in steel vats, and then bottling in the total absence of oxygen.
How to pair our wine Anniversario 1967 – Pinot grigio IGT
A wine to be served chilled, at a maximum of 6-8 degrees, with aperitifs, hors d’oeuvres, seafood, vegetarian dishes, white meats and fresh or medium-aged cheeses. We imagine it with a slice of grilled swordfish, tagliatelle with wild asparagus and cherry tomatoes, crusted lamb, but also fried eggs with asparagus.
