Sensory notes

Colour: A luminous intense ruby red, almost inscrutable and with a magnificent consistency.
Nose: The nose appreciates the scents of violets, ripe blackberries, berries, spices, pepper, coffee, all well integrated with each other.
Taste: A magnificent intensity and a classic drinkability, warm, full of charm, a full, soft taste, reminiscent of the nose to which delicate balsamic notes are added.

A freshness that is perfectly aligned with the body and well received by dynamic tannins, albeit softened in the corners. The finish, long and persistent, is characterised by a pleasant and appreciated sapidity.

Harvest
Born in one of the best areas of Abruzzo, from an ancient vineyard trained to Tendone, at an ideal altitude to ensure a formidable temperature range and with a magnificent exposure.

A Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOCG obtained from a harvest in the last ten days of October, strictly manual, from a certified organic agriculture, which ensures maximum respect for the surrounding environment.

Vinification
A vinification in thermo-conditioned steel vats, followed by a malolactic fermentation, a maturation of 6 months in cement tanks, then 24 months in 50hl barrels, to be bottled in total absence of oxygen and aged for another 6 months.

How to pair our wine Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOCG Turàn
It needs time to reveal itself, it should be opened before tasting, at a temperature between 16 and 18 Celsius degrees, with a large glass.

It is appreciated on all occasions, better if paired with structured and tasty dishes such as aperitifs, appetizers, first courses, vegetarian food, red meat and medium and long matured cheeses. Italian appetizer, lasagna alla bolognese, baked lamb, aubergine parmigiana, fragrant cheeses such as gorgonzola or pecorino.
