ANNIVERSARIO 1967 PRIMITIVO IGT 14%.
Tasting notes
Colour: Bright deep ruby red, with violet reflections and a generous consistency.
Nose: Intense with hints of juicy fresh fruits such as blueberries, plums, cherries, black cherries, berries and flowers like violets.
Taste: Dry and vibrant, fresh and savoury, balanced, warm and round.
A full bodied wine that confirms the notes of the nose with the addition of a nice blackberry and a delicate bitter background.
Harvest
It comes from an area particularly suited to winemaking, from ancient vines located at an ideal altitude to ensure a magnificent temperature range and which enjoys a magnificent exposure.
The Primitivo is the fruit of a harvest carried out in two different times, the first in August and the second around mid-September, strictly by hand and from an agriculture that is particularly attentive to the environment.
Vinification
Vinification takes place in thermo-conditioned steel vats, followed by a malolactic fermentation and an ageing of at least 4 months in cement tanks before being bottled in total absence of oxygen.
How to pair our Primitivo wine
Serve it at 14°-16°, possibly in a nice wide glass and always uncork it a few minutes before serving, so that it can show itself well and express itself at its best.
It is the perfect accompaniment for well-structured, flavoursome dishes and fragrant cheeses, but also with aperitifs, starters, vegetarian dishes, grilled meat or baked meats and medium- and long-aged cheeses.
Imagine savoury vegetable appetizers, asparagus risotto, lamb with potatoes, baked stuffed turkey or a ricotta and mushroom crêpe
