Sparkling wine Passerina brut Torri Bakán
Colour: A straw yellow with sparkling golden reflections, loaded with a lively and persistent perlage.
Nose: The nose evokes scents of white flowers, including sage, broom and a fruity note of peach and apricot.
Taste: On the palate it is pungent, fresh and savoury, in perfect coherence with the nose and in excellent balance with a delicate softness. An intense citrus fruitiness welcomes a long and persistent finish.
Born in one of the most vocated areas of Abruzzo, from an old vine grown in Tendone, at an ideal altitude to guarantee a formidable temperature range and with a magnificent exposure.
A quality sparkling wine made from Passerina grapes, obtained from hand picked grapes only harvested in the first ten days of September, from a certified organic agriculture, which guarantees the utmost respect for the surrounding environment.
Vinification and sparkling process
A vinification performed in thermo-conditioned steel vats followed by a sparkling process using the Martinotti-Charmat method for at least 3 months in autoclaves, and then isobaric bottling and corking.
How to pair our Bakàn Passerina spumante brut wine
A sparkling wine to be served cold, on 4-6 degrees maximum with aperitifs, appetizers, seafood, vegetarian dishes, meats and cheeses. We imagine it with a risotto allo scoglio (with seafood), a sauté of mussels, a nice courgette omelette, stuffed pork loin or roast turkey rump.
