Sensory notes

Colour: Intense almost impenetrable ruby ​​red, with slight purple reflections and enviable texture.
Nose: Intense, very structured with floral red violet and fruity scents of ripe red fruits like blueberries, cherries, plums and mulberries.
Taste: It is warm, impressive and soft, in good balance with the its tannins. If not particularly extravagant or overbearing it is of excellent persistence. Excellent combination between palate and nose. An excellent wine that despite the high alcohol content is easy to drink with a long mineral finish.

Harvest
Primitivo is a wine with ancient origins and typical characteristics of a southern product. In Italy, its region of origin is Puglia and over the years, it has been appreciated all over the world.

A wine produced with Primitivo grapes farmed according to a strict organic protocol, which guarantees the utmost respect for the surrounding environment. Hand harvested during the first ten days of October.

Vinification
It is vinified in thermo-conditioned steel vats, and once the malolactic fermentation is complete, the wine is aged for a further 4 months in concrete vats. The wine is them packaged in the total absence of oxygen.

How to combine our Primitivo IGT wine
A wine to be enjoyed at a temperature between 14 and 16 degrees in a large wide mouthed glass.

Perfect with well-structured and tasty dishes and fragrant cheeses, but also with aperitifs, appetizers, vegetarian dishes, grilled or baked meat and medium and semi-aged cheeses.
