Passerina 3L Boxed Wine Organic White
In stock
Passerina is a native white grape of central Italy. The name is related to the House Sparrow (in Italian “Passero”). These birds love eating delicious sweet Passerina tiny berries (thankfully not all of them!). Light in body and more delicate compared to a Pecorino, wines made from Passerina are crisp and elegant with lovely floral and fruity notes.
This Passerina is bright and fresh with a ripe citrus character and fresh herbs and sea salt notes. The palate is crisp with loads of zippy acidity showing lemon, peach and acacia. It finishes lean with some mineral notes. It is a great summer sipping wine or pairing with sushi, fish, seafood, salads and appetisers. If you are keen on Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio, give Passerina a try!
The wine will stay fresh for up to six weeks once opened.
